1- A história do All Star começou em 1908, na Cidade norte - americana de Maldens , Massachusetts. Foi la que o empresario Marquis Mills Converse abriu um " Converse Rubber Show Company " , Empresa dedicada à Produção de Calçados de Borracha . Em 1910 , Já produzia cerca de 4 mil pares de sapatos por dia ;

2-Em 1.921, o jogador de basquete Charles "Chuck" Taylor juntou-se á empresa e sugeriu 2 mudanças no design do All Star,reforçando o calcanhar para melhorar o apoio do jogador e fissuras no solado,para diminuir a derrapagem nas quadras;
